Satellite Finder Align Dish is a GPS-based satellite alignment tool developed and published on Google Play by Hamid Lahmamsi. The app helps users locate, point, and align satellite dishes using compass bearing, AR view, bubble level, and live map features.
Because the core functionality of this app depends on your physical location and device orientation, certain data is collected and used to provide these features. This Privacy Policy describes exactly what is collected, how it is used, and who may receive it.

Satellite alignment calculations — Your GPS coordinates are used locally to compute the correct azimuth, elevation, and polarisation angle for any selected satellite from our database of 200+ satellites worldwide.
Map and AR display — Location data is passed to Google Maps to display your position on the live earth map and to render the AR satellite direction overlay on your camera view.
Advertising — The app contains ads. Third-party advertising SDKs may collect device identifiers, approximate location, and app activity data to serve and measure ads. See Section 05 for details.
App diagnostics — Crash and performance data may be collected to help improve the stability of the application.

Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data to any party. Data may be shared with the third-party services listed in Section 05 as a technical requirement of their operation within the app.
Location data passed to Google Maps is used solely to render map and AR views and is governed by Google's own privacy terms. Advertising data collected by AdMob is used by Google for ad delivery and is not independently accessible by the app developer.
We do not share your data with any other companies, brokers, or individuals outside of the service providers described in this policy.
Data Storage and Retention
The application itself does not maintain a server or database. No user data is stored on our infrastructure. Location readings and sensor values are used in real time to perform calculations and are not persisted beyond the active session.
Any data retained by third-party services such as Google AdMob or Firebase is subject to Google's own data retention policies. Application preferences are stored locally on your device and contain no personal or sensitive information.
Location Data
Location is the core input this app requires to function. Without access to your GPS coordinates, the app cannot compute satellite pointing angles or display your position on the map.
Your location is used only while the app is in the foreground. The app does not request background location access and does not track your location when it is not actively in use.
You may revoke location permission at any time in your device's app settings. Doing so will disable satellite alignment calculations and map features but will not affect other parts of the app.
Children's Privacy
This application is rated for ages 3 and above on Google Play. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The data collected by this application is limited to location and device sensor data required for its core functionality.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through this app, please contact us using the details in Section 11 and we will take steps to address it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
If this Privacy Policy is updated, the new version will be published at this URL and the effective date will be revised accordingly. Continued use of the application after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
