TipSplit ("the App", "we", "our") is a free, offline bill splitter and tip calculator developed and published by BTS Technology. This Privacy Policy describes how the App handles information. The complete answer is: it does not handle any information, because it never collects any.
By using TipSplit, you agree to the terms described in this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.
TipSplit does not collect, process, store, transmit, or share any of the following:
Personal information
Location data
Usage analytics
Advertising IDs
Crash reports
Device identifiers
Network requests
Financial data
Cookies / trackers
TipSplit requests zero Android permissions. The App does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, storage, location, phone state, or any other device feature or sensor.

All calculations performed in TipSplit are held in temporary memory (RAM) only. The App does not write any data to your device's internal storage, external storage, or shared preferences. When you close the App, all data is immediately cleared.
There are no databases, no files, and no persistent state of any kind stored on your device by TipSplit.
TipSplit does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics platforms, or external services. The following are explicitly not included:
TipSplit does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). Since the App collects no data whatsoever, it is inherently safe for users of all ages and complies with COPPA and similar regulations.
Because TipSplit does not collect, store, or transmit any data, there is no user data at risk. The best security is no data at all — and that is precisely our approach.
BTS Technology may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
Since the App collects no data, any future updates will only reflect changes in functionality or legal language — not new data collection practices.
